The first ever WSG Dance grand show has come to an end. What better way to finish the day than a massive group photo?

A huge thank you to everyone who was involved — including the students, teachers, judges, host and the many supporters watching live and online.

For our schools their WSG experience continues tomorrow with visits to West End Workshops and sightseeing.

To round off today's performances, the top three scoring schools from throughout the event took part in the WSG Dance Off! After three stunning performances by the duos put forward by GD Goenka, New Hall School and Dubai International Academy, it went to an audience vote.

Ellie Fergusson raises the roof with a stunning opening performance! The BBC's The Greatest Dancer champion spoke about her journey to stardom, providing inspiration for the young dancers.

The calm before the storm. The Shaw Theatre is quiet as the WSG team put the finishing touches on the branding display. In a couple of hours, we will have a packed house.

We are very excited to reveal our opening performances. The 2019 winner of BBC's The Greatest Dancer, Ellie Fergusson, will open the show to be followed by Summit Dance Company.

This evening there was a bit of downtime for the schools before tomorrow's grand show. A trip to a West End Show capped a memorable day, with each school picking from a range of the top theatres. Pictured is DIA Emirates Hills, who watched Oliver.
